# Beams From Structural Columns

This command creates structural beams from selected structural columns, the command creates the types automatically, it is possible to pre-establish the beam height, create them in a chain along with other options

Works similar to [**Beams From Walls Command**](https://onboxapp-onbox.gitbook.io/onboxapp/structural-elements/beams-from-walls) but it will utilize Columns instead.

**Chain:** Continues from the last Column when continuing to pick other Columns.

**More Options:**&#x20;

* **Width:**

  * **First Selected Column:** The width of Beams will be the width of the first Selected Column.
  * **Second Selected Column:** The width of Beams will be the width of the second Selected Column.
  * **Fixed:** The width Beams will be specified by you.

* **Height:**
  * **Fixed Height:** The Height of Beams will be specified by you.
  * **Span Divided by:** The Height of Beams will calculated be the Span of Beams divided by a fixed number.
